MONASTERIO DE LA CARTUJA DE LA INMACULADA CONCEPCIÓN

From the remains of a hunting lodge of King Pedro I El Cruel, this group stands, now mostly in ruins. It was subsidiary of the Charterhouse of Santa Maria of the Caves in Seville, from its foundation in 1.483. Through a portal of classic-style ashlar masonry, one enters the monastic enclosure; To the right we find a chapel of the pilgrims, totally restored and dedicated to housing, with vault of canyon, belfry and cover. Nowadays, with the removal of some of the ruins, the Monastery's different rooms, kitchens, refectory, cells, cloister, cemetery, Profundis room, etc., can be clearly seen in some of them. And factory of the nerves, of sillerías in their outbursts and of brick of the rest, as well as the corbels and rosettes, indicate to us the presence of the Renaissance and, therefore, to have been constructed within the XVI.

PARROQUIA DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LA CONSOLACIÓN

Adosado to a door of the old walls Almohads, in which several works and reforms in style Mudéjar were realized, this temple rises, one of the most outstanding of the Sevillian architecture. It presents three different constructive moments. The first one can be dated in centuries XIV and XV, constructing then a Mudejar church with three ships, polygonal apse and tower-facade. In 1538 a second stage was begun, which did not end, in which part of the previous work was demolished, and the construction of a new temple of rectangular plant with three naves covered with vault casetonadas, supported by great pillars with columns Terraced houses. The third phase took place in the second third of the eighteenth century.

ANTIGUA IGLESIA DE SAN BENITO

It was built in the 17th century. It has a single nave, divided into four sections by means of pointed transverse arches, the headboard being composed of two sections, one rectangular covered by a vaulted cascade and a semicircular one with a vaulted vault. The outer walls are modulated by thick buttresses, standing on the left side a simple Renaissance style doorway. At the foot of the nave, on a facade angle, rises a tower, topped by a bell tower decorated with balusters..

IGLESIA DEL CONVENTO DE LA MADRE DE DIOS

It is a single nave divided in five sections, covered with canyon vault with arches fajones and lunetos, plus a presbytery that presents / displays an average orange on pechinas. Two portals of similar structure and flanked by thick pillars, open on the right wall. Both have arches of half point between pilasters, broken rubt and hornacina in the auction. At the foot of the same wall rises the belfry, made in brick and formed by two bodies. The set was realized in the first half of century XVII, being reformed from 1,722, due to the damages that presented.

EX CONVENTO DE SAN FRANCISCO

The church is covered by a single nave that is covered with vault of cannon with lunetos, presenting the chapel greater square plant and vault vaída. The belfry is made of brick and has two bodies, the lower one with a Serliano vain and the upper one flanked by scrolls, with pinnacles decorated with ceramic work, and can be dated in the first third of the seventeenth century.

IGLESIA DEL EX CONVENTO DE SANTA CLARA

It presents / displays a single ship, divided in six sections, and semicircular head. The roofs are barrel vaults with lunettes between arches fajones, appearing a semi-spherical vault on pechina in the atepresbiterio and a vault of quarter of sphere in the greater chapel. The unique cover of the temple is placed in the wall of the ship, presenting / displaying schematic lintel and being framed by thick buttresses. On this same wall rises a simple belfry realized in brick, constituted by two bodies. The church features characteristic elements of the XVI century, although the interior of the same one is due to a remodeling executed during Century XVII.

IGLESIA DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DEL CARMEN

Small building of a single nave, divided into three sections, with square chapel. The roofs are semi-spherical vault on presbytery and vault of cannon with lunetos and arches fajones in the ship. At the foot, on a simple lintel cover finished by broken pediment, is located a belfry. The building could be a primitive Mudejar work, to which would correspond the exterior walls of the greater chapel that has buttresses, that was totally reformed in baroque time.

EX CONVENTO DE SAN AGUSTIN

The old church looks like work of Baroque period, corresponding to the XVIII century the decoration of plasterwork that covers the dome of the presbytery. The convent has on its façade a tall porticoed gallery, with arches recessed and framed by alfiz, resting on coarse columns. The patio or cloister has two floors. The lower is formed by semicircular arches that fall in thick cylindrical columns, offering the high, to the center of each of the four sides, balconies framed by pilasters.

SANTUARIO DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DEL MONTE

It presents / displays a single ship, preceded of a portico and greater chapel with dressing room. It is covered with barrel vault with arches fajones and lunetos, and this one with a half orange on pechinas. The construction dates from the second half of the XVIII century, on the primitive hermitage dated in the Low Middle Ages, undergoing major reforms in the second half of the XVIII century.
